There were wars, presidents, music, movies, colloquial expressions, fashion, ball players, automobiles, and heroes (among everything else) long before the birth of each liberal. And yet, everyone who came before them – from Socrates to Jesus, from Churchill to Washington – were not nearly as wise, informed, moral or intelligent as the modern liberal.

No one.

I keep forgetting that.
