It seems that a majority in this land have turned their back on God’s will to follow a path of not only humanistic reasoning but blatant sin. From the move to change the marriage covenant which God instituted, to the one million porn sites on the internet, to the promotion of partial birth abortion we are turning our backs on God. These are just the tip of the iceburg. Many people seem to have rejected God, choosing to believe He either doesn’t care or doesn’t exist. It seems that with this last election many people have chosen to put their trust in a man to save us rather than God. This will never work. If we continue down this path then our situation will only get worse. Global warming and the economic crisis of late is nothing compared to our future if we continue our arrogant snub of the one who created the earth as well as all of us. Our nation is in a desperate time and Believers everywhere should take the time to cry out to God for His mercy for the sin of our generation. God says that He will forgive us of all of our sin, but we must be willing to turn away from these things and follow Him. Otherwise, He is not our God becuase we have rejected Him and we we have chosen to do it our own way and we cannot blame God for all the calamity that will follow. My prayer is that people will choose God rather than folly of men. He is waiting to pour out His blessing on those who turn to Him. Don’t make light of the significance of a day when we all as a nation ackowledge our belief in and need for Him. Pray hard!
