<i>"But my guess is your childish fantasy of presidential failure for disagreeing with any one of your checklist items would be set aside for the last president. I will not go as far as to speak for Mr. Roman, but I can certainly say that I was opposed to Bush's actions of bailouts as well. You will note that Mr. Roman made this list based around the Limbaugh assertion that he wants Obama to fail. There was nothing said about impeachment, only that he should fail and (implied) thus be disgraced and rightly ridiculed beyond "Hope" for a second term.

You cast belittling remarks about like many pseudo-intellectuals on the left do with a gleeful ignorance of how you appear to people of rational thought. Your smugness and condescension seems to be in your mind all that is necessary to rebut a reasoned argument against Obama’s policies that are in direct conflict with the core principles of this country. Perhaps you should read Mr. Roman’s tab above “Just a tad ‘bout me” and learn how he is for <strong><i>limited</i></strong> government and not “entirely without” government as you have created a straw man to appear as though you are more than the intellectually deficient malcontent you prove yourself to be.

To Michael Christenson,

Your post is full of insults and references to 'chilidish', yet I see no semblance of coherence or relevance in your drivel.

It seems to me that you do not like the author's viewpoints, so you just start throwing insults around.

That, sir, is childish.

This is an absolutist agenda written like a child's wish list for a country he is spoiled enough to believe evolved to his liking entirely without government. But my guess is your childish fantasy of presidential failure for disagreeing with any one of your checklist items would be set aside for the last president. The last administration did do exactly what No. 13 on this list condemns as reason enough to throw out the president.

So this unconditional list of absolutes by a childish thinker, actually has a lot of 'flip flopping' when it comes to the last administration.

I'm also guessing you don't have the balls to post a well developed response to your aimless checklist - you're content to post one liners from the other side as a token symbol that you are open to criticism.

This strategy of fostering one sided thoughts with one sided dialogue keeps you where you want to be: In a vapid vacuum of unaccountable, incoherent, without nuance thought, screaming and yelling about how the world should work without a smidge of experience actually making it happen.

Conservatives need to become a lot more sophisticated in spotting those incremental changes that will allow Obama to successfully implement most of the stuff on your list.

Unfortunately the odds are so heavily stacked against us, however, that it's hard to republicans them for missing so many key things; especially with the media working so closely with the Obama administration's wishes.

Look how easily we were misdirected during the cabinet confirmation hearings. The media harped nonstop about Bill Richardson's and Daschle's tax problems just to ease the confirmation of a man who has since called our country "a nation of cowards" and has openly admitted to favoring leniency towards terrorists as our Attorney General.

I mean think about it. What's more objectionable to you? A commerce secretary who skipped a couple tax payments or an Attorney General who sympathizes with people who would gladly blow themselves up so long as they can take unarmed civilians with them? A health secretary who missed some property taxes or a chief law enforcement officer who continues to regard America as incorrigibly racist even after we elected a Black President?

Yet we heard nothing about Holder's eccentricities during the confirmation. The press chose to NOT be scandalized by Holder's inclinations, and instead we were treated to a media circus about a couple guys who were harmless in comparison.

Obama's already shown a pattern of using that sort of misdirection during his campaign and during the first month of his administration. Conservatives need to be extremely wary of every seeming objection that the mainstream media may raise about Obama's policies and instead look at the stuff that he slipping by right under our noses.
